IT Systems Administrator



Key Responsibilities:



• Install, administer, and maintain services, servers, and systems, including Windows, Linux, AD/AAD, and MS Exchange Online.
• Actively participate in the installation, administration, and maintenance of network components in both on-premise and Azure Cloud environments.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support and incident resolution.
• Ensure proper documentation of the information system, including diagrams, technical operation manuals, procedures, and runbooks.
• Play a key role in projects, driving innovative solutions and best practices.
• Communicate new concepts, techniques, and best practices within the organization to deliver consistent, maintainable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers to maintain and evolve cloud and on-premise solutions in a continuous improvement manner.
• Administer technical environments, including backup systems, LAN, WAN, and network and server hardware.
• Manage all administration tasks in the technical environment, including migration, deployment, and rollout.
• Contribute to monitoring and identifying IT department risks and security issues related to infrastructure.
• Ensure knowledge transfer for business continuity and support team training.
• Follow up on tickets with the team and users.
• Ensure infrastructure availability through periodic on-call duty shifts.

Qualifications:



• University degree in ICT (minimum BAC +3).
• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in relevant fields.

Hard Skills:



• Advanced knowledge in system administration; operating systems including Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows.
• Strong understanding of cloud-oriented and on-premise technical architectures (experience with Amazon or Google cloud services is a plus).
• Knowledge of virtualized environments (VMware).
• Practical and concrete knowledge of backup or network-level systems (FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco ASA, F5, CheckPoint, CommVault, etc.).
• Useful and desired knowledge of switch management, such as Alcatel.
• Required knowledge of messaging systems: Exchange/Exchange Online, and general knowledge in antispam and messaging security.
• Familiarity with cloud-related technologies and containerization (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python (other languages are an asset).
• Knowledge of Terraform is considered an asset (DevOps experience is a plus).
• Extensive skills in Intune and Autopilot.
• Concrete experience in Microsoft AD and AAD.
• Experience with Azure monitoring tools.
