Technology PMO Analyst

Technology PMO Analyst - London - Remote working - 12 months extendable contract

As PMO Analyst you will work as part of a project supporting Public Sector infrastructure programs

You will be working with internal stakeholders and external clients to deliver end-to-end solutions across our digital platforms.

As the PMO Analyst for the programme you will set the benchmark for complying with the standards for delivery – adopting agile methodologies, modern tooling and championing the firm’s governance. You will provide transparency and reporting regarding the projects we deliver.

THE ROLE

The PMO Analyst will be allocated to a live programme for the healthcare sector to provide PM support and ensure PMO disciplines are adhered to.

Job description

•Maintain a detailed project plan and proactively reach out to task owners for updates on soon to be completed tasks and advise the project manager on risks to critical path
•Schedule and join project meetings, take minutes and over time once familiar with the project begin to also assess impact from discussions raised changes to the project plan and RAID log
•Proactively update the plan and RAID log following meetings – analyse the changes and make judgements on impact & action plans required
•Run regular sessions with the project manager on project progress, presenting the latest project plan, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies etc
•Produce stakeholder/status/ meeting packs for the project manager to review
•Independently maintain and document all key artefacts, templates, and logs (i.e. actions, decisions, change requests)
•Produce weekly status reports for the project manager
•Financial management – record and keep track of spend to date and update the PM in relation to this and the overall project forecast cost to complete.
•Support the Project Manager in the completion of various Risk Governance documentation which requires completing prior to stage-gate progression (E.g. Business Impact Assessment, Information Security questionnaires etc)
•Support in the production of suitable Executive level Management Information
•Support in the Traceability Audit Checklist – i.e. all required templates are complete, required submissions for sign off have taken place etc

THE PERSON

The Person
•The individual we are seeking needs to have experience across PMO disciplines and different tooling - ServiceNow, Source, JIRA,
•Strong Project Management skillset and experience of Prince2, MSP and Agile delivery methods and tooling
•Able to work under pressure and to high quality.
•Able to work with complex and different data sets and produce MI dashboards
•Able to understand Budgetary information in terms of Spend incurred on projects.
•Advanced Ppt skills to support on template creation and management packs

•Ability to work positively with the full range of individuals and groups and capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
•Excellent problem-solving skills
•Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere and flex approach where needed. Happy to roll sleeves up and get involved. Can take direction but also be able to work independently
•Project Management grounding and understanding of core Project Management attributes - Plans, RAID Log, Status updates, Change Control, Steerco and Status packs
•Highly Proficient in Word and PowerPoint
•Highly organised
•Strong commercial acumen
•Strong communication and presentation (written and verbal) skills
•Proficient in MI reporting and populating management and operational reports
•Driven and enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion without upsetting others.
•Experience of working in a Professional Services environment would be advantageous.
•Experience of working within a large IT /Technology environment
•Working on Transformation /large programmes of change with multiple stakeholders
