Senior Financial Crime Officer

Senior Financial Crime Officer / Location: Luxembourg / Salary: Up to 80K

A human-sized and independent investment funds manager is looking for its new Senior Financial Crime officer to complete its team.

This UCITS Management Company and AIFM located in Luxembourg is specialised in establishing and managing funds.

You will join a small and friendly team of compliance, risk and regulatory professionals and you will be the key contact for Financial Crime related matters for the Luxembourg office. You will work directly with the senior management and the authorities.

Senior Financial Crime Officer – Main Tasks:

• Perform initial and ongoing due diligence on the service providers supporting the funds

• Prepare and submit reports on AML/CFT matters to the supervisory Board and local authorities Review policies and procedures and ensure it is compliant with the relevant regulations

• Provide support to formalize procedures and governance structure as well as general administrative support

• Liaise with all the areas within and outside the company to ensure a long and trustful working relationship and to develop a compliance culture

Senior Financial Crime Officer - Profile:

• You have a degree in Finance services, BA, Law or any related field

• You have at least 6 years of relevant experience within the investment funds industry and financial crime in Luxembourg

• You have knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework in Luxembourg

• You are fluent in English, any other language is a plus

• You have management skills and the ability to deliver timely results under pressure, accurately
